Any venue or person that sells liquor must have a liquor licence. This licence can be obtained by applying through the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor
There are many types of liquor licence applications that can be applied for, depending on the type of venue (eg. Hotel, Liquor Store). An existing venue can apply to amend their trading hours (eg. an Extended Trading Permit application) or make changes to their venue, such as extending the beer garden. Each type of licence has different trading hours and conditions of trade.
